Muscat: The Staff and Command College (at the Academy for Strategic and Defence Studies) celebrated the passing out of its 35th batch.

The ceremony, held at Muaskar Bait Al Falaj, was held under the auspices of Abdussalam Mohammed al Murshidi, Chairman of Oman Investment Authority (OIA).

The batch comprised officers from the Ministry of Defence, the headquarters of the Sultan’s Armed Forces (SAF), the Royal Guards of Oman (RGO), SAF wings and other military and security departments. The batch also included students from GCC states and other Arab countries.

The curricula of the course covered refresher drills, lectures by undersecretaries and ambassadors and concluded with a practical demo codenamed Al Hazm (firmness), which culminates the course’s series of training exercises.
