MUSCAT: Oman Vision 2040 Implementation Follow-up Unit launched its website (www.oman2040.om), an integrative, flexible and interactive platform that is designed to enable the specialists, researches and interested individuals to access the final version of the vision’s document, learn about the national programmes, and the Unit's work methodologies for monitoring and evaluating performance.

The website consists of a number of sections, the first of which is a dedicated section for the unique history, civilisation, culture and geographical location of the Sultanate of Oman. Moreover, the website has a publications section, including Oman Vision 2040 document, annual reports, and booklets. There is also a section dedicated for the community participation platform, which will be launched later this year, as well as the Media Center for News and Events of the Unit, and a special section for communication and providing suggestions. The unit’s website also includes icons for the Unit's accounts on social media platforms, to enable browsers in having direct access to the posts of the unit in all of its accounts.

The design of the website is adaptable to various devices such as desktops, laptops, tablets and mobile phones. Later on, the unit will include the website voice reader feature in both Arabic and English, in addition to sign language for those with audio-visual disabilities, to enable them to learn about the Vision and the unit and follow its news.
