Seminar held on Corporate Income Tax, VAT in Musandam

Khasab: The Tax Authority organized a seminar in the Governorate of Musandam to familiarize members of the public about the Corporate Income Tax (CIT) and the Value Added Tax (VAT).

Held in cooperation with Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry (OCCI) branch in Musandam, the seminar outlines the legal framework of the VAT and explains conceptions and provisions related to its application, as well as the CIS rates and subsidies.

The seminar is a link in a series of workshops held by the Tax Authority in different governorates of the Sultanate of Oman to raise awareness and inculcate tax culture in society.
