Salalah: A media delegation comprising reporters from Arab and foreign news agencies on Sunday visited Salalah Airport as part of their tour of the Governorate of Dhofar aimed to explore economic, investment and tourism projects.
The media delegation listened to a briefing by Salim Awad al Yafei, Deputy CEO of Oman Airport Company, who spoke about the airport. Then, the team inspected various facilities of the airport.
The media delegation also visited the project of Al Morooj Dairy’s company. The project, a unit for the collection and refrigeration of milk products, was launched by the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Water Resources through the government investment arm (Oman Food Investment Holding Co) to augment the income of livestock breeders and achieve sufficiency in dairy products.
Dr Nasser Ali Bait Said, Executive Manager of Al Morooj Dairy, briefed the delegates about the missions of the company.
