AL JABAL AL AKHDHAR: The Ministry of Defence, represented by the Royal Army of Oman (RAO), and the Ministry of Heritage and Tourism signed an agreement on training in the field of adventure tourism at Al Jabal Al Akhdhar (The Green Mountain).
The agreement was signed at the Combat Training Centre in the Wilayat of Al Jabal Al Akhdhar, Governorate of Al Dakhiliyah, by Brig Abdullah bin Mohammed al Badi, Director-General of Training and Inspection at the RAO Command; and Said bin Harib al Obaidani, Director-General of Tourism Development, Ministry of Heritage and Tourism. The agreement deals with cooperation in the fields of auditing and training on adventure activities. The Combat Training Centre will do with auditing and training on security and safety systems related to adventure tourism activities in a professional and secure manner. The signing ceremony was attended by Maj Gen Matar bin Salim al Balushi, Commander of RAO; Azzan bin Qasim al Busaidy, Under-Secretary of the Ministry of Heritage and Tourism for Tourism ; and Brig Said bin Zayed al Habsi, Commandant of the RAO Academy; and other officers.
