MUSCAT: Dr Madeeha bint Ahmed bin Nasser al Shaibaniyah, Minister of Education, visited a number of schools in the Directorate-General of Education in Al Dakhiliyah Governorate, which included Rubu` Al Jabal School for Basic Education (1-4) and Al Jabal Al Akhdhar School for Basic Education for Girls, grades (5-12) and Abu Zaid Al Riyami School for Basic Education for Boys, grades (5-12) in Al Jabal Al Akhdhar.
The minister was accompanied by Saif bin Mubarak al Julandani, Director-General of the Directorate-General of Education in Al Dakhiliyah Governorate, during the visit.
The visit aimed to review the efforts of the Education Directorate in the governorate and to see the progress of work after the students return to school and the decisions of the Higher Committee related to education. Through this visit, the minister also aimed to listen to development proposals and challenges posed by members of the administrative and teaching bodies in these schools, in addition to working to find practical and quick solutions; to overcome the challenges that may face workers in the educational field.
