BankDhofar inks pact with Oman Oil to provide payment solutions

MUSCAT: BankDhofar and Oman Oil recently signed an agreement for payment solutions. The agreement was mutually signed by Dr Tariq Taha, Chief Retail Banking Officer, at BankDhofar and Ali Muqaibal, GM International Retail from Oman Oil Marketing, with the presence of executive management team members. As part of the agreement, BankDhofar will provide Oman Oil with innovative payment solutions, including Point of Sale (POS) terminals and a payment gateway for its mobile application.


Upon signing the agreement, Dr Tariq Taha, Chief Retail Banking Officer at BankDhofar, said: “We are proud to sign the agreement with Oman Oil to provide them with innovative payment solutions, which will facilitate their business operations. The agreement will positively reflect on the experience of the customers of Oman Oil, especially users of the Oman Oil mobile App and Basma card. At BankDhofar, providing innovative products, services and solutions to our customers have always been our priority.”


The POS terminals provided by BankDhofar will ensure highly secured and quick payments. On the other hand, BankDhofar’s payment gateway will enable customers to enjoy a better experience when it comes to purchasing or top-up Basma cards through Oman Oil mobile App.
