MUSCAT: Shaikh Ahmed bin Saud al Siyabi, Secretary-General of the Ifta Office, received here on Sunday a delegation from Al Albayt University of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.
The two sides reviewed areas of enhancing cooperation in intellectual and cultural fields. They also discussed several matters of common interest in civilisational, historical and cultural contexts.
The meeting came within the framework of the cooperation between the Ministry of Awqaf and Religious Affairs and Al Albayt University.
The university’s delegation comprises Prof Hani Aldmour, President of Al Albayt University, Prof Mohammed Al Harahsheh, Vice-President of the university and Prof Anwar al Khalidi, Director of the Omani Studies Unit. -- ONA
