MoU inked to develop Omani Studies Unit at Jordanian Al Albayt University

Muscat: The Ifta Office at the Ministry of Endowments and Religious Affairs signed here on Thursday a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Al Albayt University of the Hasehmite Kingdom of Jordan.


The MoU deals with developing the university’s Omani Studies Unit.


The MoU was signed by His Eminence Shaikh Ahmed Hamad al Khalili, Grand Mufti of the Sultanate of Oman and Prof Hani Aldmour, President of Al Albayt University.


This MoU comes within the framework of the advanced relations between Oman and Jordan and to enhance cooperation between academic and research institutions from both countries.


The aim of the MoU is to promote Oman’s people, civilization and achievements. It will also bolster communication in cultural, academic and research fields.
