SALALAH: The Municipal Council of the Governorate of Dhofar held its meeting here on Wednesday under the chairmanship of Sayyid Mohammed bin Sultan al Busaidy, Minister of State and Governor of Dhofar, Chairman of the council.
The meeting covered a range of topics, particularly Oman’s Tourism Strategy, the proposal of the Directorate-General of Tourism on regulating the phenomenon of portable homes (caravans) during the monsoon (Khareef) season and the report of the Oman Investment Authority on setting up a water desalination plant in the Wilayat of Rakhyout, among other topics. - ONA
