SALALAH: The Municipal Council of the Governorate of Dhofar on Sunday discussed ways to enhance services and municipal work in the governorate’s various wilayats.
The meeting was chaired by Sayyid Mohammed Sultan al Busaidy, Minister of State and Governor of Dhofar.
The meeting reviewed the procedures undertaken to implement the decisions and recommendations of the council in its previous meeting. It also discussed the outcomes of the meetings of specialised committees in the council.
The meeting touched on the recommendation of furnishing sports facilities in residential neighbourhoods and their work mechanism.
Moreover, the council took note of a number of proposals, particularly those related to the National Urban Development Strategy in the governorate.
