MUSCAT: Dr Ebrahim Raisi, President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, will pay a visit to the Sultanate of Oman on Monday.
This was stated in a statement issued by the Diwan of Royal Court on Saturday reading as follows: “In reiteration of the good neighbourliness and advanced relations binding the Sultanate of Oman and the Islamic Republic of Iran, the Iranian President Dr Ebrahim Raisi will pay a visit to Oman this Monday (May 23).
"The visit reflects the Royal keenness attached by His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik and President Dr Ebrahim Raisi to enhance bilateral relations in various spheres to serve their interests and aspirations. The visit will explore areas of cooperation between the two neighbouring countries.
