New guidelines for beauty parlors in Muscat

Muscat - Muscat Municipality has set new regulations for issuing licenses for women's beauty parlors in multi-story buildings.


A statement from the Municipality said that granting of new licenses to establish the activities of hairdressing or women’s beauty parlor shops will be only on the ground floors or first floors in multi-story buildings.


With regard to hairdressing activities and women's beauty centers currently located on the upper floors, their licenses will be renewed, and ownership will not be transferred or assigned to others.
