San Francisco: The Omani writer and novelist Jokha al Harthi took part in the annual Bay Area Book Festival, held in Berkeley, San Francisco.
She participated in various panels on books, culture and literature in Oman to celebrate her newly published novel titled “Bitter Orange Tree”.
A number of US newspapers and journals lauded the novel, including the New York Times.
