The Royal Opera House Muscat is delighted to announce a very special concert marking another historic moment in the 10th anniversary season of the Royal Opera House Muscat: The Pipe Organ Concert featuring the Munchner Knabenchor and the Royal Oman Symphony Orchestra. A landmark opera house across the region and a beacon for the arts on a global scale, the opera house is home to one of the most unique pipe organs in the world. This awe-inspiring instrument is featured in an annual concert each season, drawing the world’s greatest organists to perform.
In 2022, the concert takes on added significance as the concert will premiere the new composition by esteemed Italian composer Marcus Tutino. The Dreaming Lion has been written especially for the ROHM pipe organ and the Royal Oman Symphony Orchestra. This two-part concert also presents the international organist, Hansjörg Albrecht, alongside the children of Münchner Knabenchor. Omani organist, Rashid Salim al Rashidy will also feature. The Pipe Organ Concert provides a stage not just for the immense expression of world-class music but also a creative collaboration spanning the world.

All visits to the opera house are conducted under the guidelines of the Supreme Committee responsible for measures to tackle the development of Covid-19.
