100,000 passengers use Mwasalat services

Muscat - Over 100,000 passengers used the buses of Mwasalst on various routes during the recently concluded Eid Al-Fitr holidays, which is the highest in the past two years.


Statistics issued by Mwasalat said that more than 19,000 passengers used the Ruwi - Al Mabelah service, followed by the Ruwi - Muscat International Airport - Al Mabela (10,000 passengers), City Center - Port of Salalah (7,000 passengers), Ruwi - Amerat (6,000 passengers) and Ruwi- Muttrah (6,000).


The Ferries service also witnessed a demand from passengers - Shanna - Masirah route was the most popular with 7,000 passengers.


Statistics showed that more than 15,000 passengers were transported via bus and ferry services on the first day of Eid al-Fitr, and more than 16,000 passengers on the second day of Eid al-Fitr.
