Bids invited for unified e-services portal in Oman

Muscat: As per the Government Digital Transformation Program 2021 – 2025, ITHCA Group has invited bids in cooperation with the Ministry of Transport, Communication, and Information Technology.


The tender has been floated for the study, design, and implementation of the national unified e-services portal.


The last date to submit the bids is June 6, 2022.


ITHCA group (formerly known as Oman Information and Communication Technology Group) was established to ensure investments on supporting the technologies of the 4th industrial revolution as well as investing in the necessary infrastructure to achieve this goal. It has integrated companies like Oman Broadband, Oman Technology Fund, Oman Towers and Space Communications Technology under its umbrella.


ITHCA has identified 11 priority areas for investment in the Sultanate of Oman with total economic returns to be around $370 million by 2025.


The investment volume is RO210.5 million and the expected revenues are RO220 million, of which 30 million riyals are accumulated profits. The group also plans to generate more market value by selling some stakes in some of its existing investments and using the funds raised to invest in emerging technologies.


The high-level scope of work will include the following:


Design, Development, Management, and Support.


Design user journey strategy and user experience for the end customer on the unified channels.


Solution based on emerging technologies and enabling AI, digital assistants, analytics, etc.
