Flynas to launch Salalah-Riyadh flights

Muscat - The Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) approved the Saudi airline, “Flynas” to operate three flights per week from Riyadh to Salalah.


Flynas flights will be operated during the khareef season, starting on June 16.


Salalah Airport will receive, on April 29, the first direct flights of the Wizz Air, budget airline from Abu Dhabi, with 14 flights per week, in addition to the scheduled flights from Gulf Air.


Gulf Air will operate two flights per week between June 28 and September 29 from the Kingdom of Bahrain.


Al Jazeera Airways will operate three flights a week between June 2 and August 29, while Kuwait Airways will operate two flights between June 7 and September 13.


Some airlines that currently operate their flights throughout the year will add capacity during the Khareef season. Qatar Airways currently operates five flights per week, and Air Arabia 12 flights per week, including 10 from Sharjah and two from Abu Dhabi. Flydubai operates three flights per week from Dubai and two flights a week from Pakistan Airlines and Air India Express.
