Muscat: The Royal Guard of Oman (RGO) on Monday received a new batch of national job-seekers to start basic military training after passing interviews, medical examinations and physical fitness tests.

RGO employed its capabilities and manpower capacities as well as administrative requirements and means of transport, to provide a suitable environment for speedy and seamless conduction of procedures for joining the military service.

The Sultan’s Armed Forces (SAF), in coordination with the Ministry of Labour, is taking great efforts to employ national job-seekers in accordance with plans and programmes recruiting nationals in the SAF and other departments of the Ministry of Defence. — ONA
