Ibri quarry mishap toll rises to 10, 4 still missing

Muscat: Rescue team of the Civil Defence and Ambulance Authority (CDAA) on Wednesday recovered one of the five missing people at the quarry mishap site in the Wilayat of Ibri.


Earlier today, CDAA rescue team retrieved one body.


According to CDAA, the death toll reached to 10 since the beginning of the rockslide at the marble quarry worksite in the Al Aridh area of Ibri.


Four people are still missing while the rescue team continues efforts to recover them as soon as possible.
