GoFirst resumes direct service from Muscat

Muscat - GoFirst (formerly known as GoAir) has resumed Oman operations from March 27.


The first flight on the sector arrived at Muscat on Sunday from Kannur at 10:05 am.


The airline will operate four flights a week from Mumbai on Monday, Tuesday, Friday, and Sunday and three flights from Kannur on Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday.


The services have been restored after almost one and a half years of interruption due to pandemics.


Kaushik Khona, CEO, GoFirst, said: “Relationship between India and Oman date back to several millenniums. The countries have a rich history of trade, and it has grown manifold over the years. We at GO FIRST are delighted to resume direct flights to Oman and this move will benefit both the countries to further strengthen bilateral ties.”
