Oman participates in ARABOSAI executive council meeting

DOHA: The Sultanate of Oman, represented by the State Audit Institution (SAI), is taking part in the 63rd meeting of the Executive Council of the Arab Organization of Supreme Audit Institutions (ARABOSAI), held in Doha, Qatar.


Oman’s delegation in the two-day meeting is headed by Shaikh Nasser bin Hilal al Maawali, Chairman of SAI.


The meeting approves the closing account for 2021 and the draft budget for 2022. It also addresses reports on the participation of audit institutions in committees and work teams that stem from the International Organization of Supreme Audit Institutions (INTOSAI).


The meeting will further discuss ARABOSAI initiatives and development activities, among other topics. -- ONA
