One of the great things about Oman is how well the country's traditions intertwine and connect the generations. Photographer Abhilash Pillai explored the beautiful chaos of the Al Felaij Camel Race in Barka and what he has captured is a treat for the eyes capturing not just the intensity and the drama of the moment but the how a proud tradition is passed on to the next generation.

"As an amateur photographer who admires to read the moments from his pictures, it's my fortune to be in this country which has great tales to tell about its culture and heritage," Abhilash noted.

He noted in another post, "Oman is about its generations. It comes and goes, but the memories that they leave will stay forever. The relationship of Omanis to their camels is a bond worth exploring and seeing," he added.
