Muscat: His Majesty Sultan Haitham Bin Tarik has received a cable of thanks from the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz al Saud of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) in reply to His Majesty’s condolences cable to him on the death of Prince Faisal Khalid Fahd al Saud.
In the cable, King Salman expressed his appreciation for His Majesty’s sympathies and sincere prayers, praying to Allah the Almighty to rest the deceased's soul in peace in paradise and protect His Majesty against all harm.
Meanwhile, His Majesty Sultan Haitham Bin Tarik has received a cable of thanks from President Ram Nath Kovind of the Republic of India in reply to His Majesty's greetings cable to him on the occasion of the 73rd Republic Day Anniversary.
In the cable, President Kovind expressed his sincere appreciation for His Majesty the Sultan's heartfelt sentiments.
He also affirmed his keenness to strengthen the existing relations between the two countries, wishing His Majesty good health and happiness.
