Muscat: A new batch of citizens holding GED qualification has joined Royal Oman Police (ROP), on Tuesday.

This comes within the framework of ROP’s efforts to employ citizens in coordination with the Ministry of Labour to provide its units with qualified manpower to meet the expansion and development witnessed by ROP.

The new police recruits will join the Institute of Police Recruits at the Sultan Qaboos Academy for Police Sciences, to receive training on various police duties and tasks through an integrated programme which includes military training and academic courses.
