MUSCAT: The Sultanate of Oman, represented by the Ministry of Labour, chaired the meeting of the International Labor Organization (ILO) on the impact of digitization on the financial sector.

The online event was attended by member states’ representatives of the three parties to the production process (employers, workers, labor unions).

Through its membership in the ILO Board of Directors during 2021-2024, Oman is contributing to the promotion of international action in order to achieve the objectives of the organization.

The meeting discussed challenges and opportunities towards advancing the financial sector. It also reviewed policies and practices for addressing the impact of digitalization on the financial sector. -- ONA
