Saudi Crown Prince leaves the Sultanate of Oman

Muscat: His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz al Saud, Crown Prince, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence of the sisterly Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) and his accompanying delegation left here on Tuesday evening after a two-day official visit to the Sultanate of Oman.


HRH Prince Mohammed bin Salman and his delegation were seen off at the Royal Airport by HH Sayyid Asaad bin Tarik al Said, Deputy Prime Minister for International Relations and Cooperation Affairs, Personal Representative of His Majesty the Sultan.


His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman Al Saud, Crown Prince, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) was accorded an official welcome today on the occasion of his visit to the Sultanate of Oman Upon the arrival of the motorcade of His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik and HRH Prince Mohammed bin Salman at Al Alam Palace courtyard, His Majesty the Sultan accompanied the Saudi Crown Prince to the Dais of Honour where the Royal Anthem of Saudi Arabia was played, while the artillery fired a 21-gun salute for the Saudi Crown Prince.


Then, His Majesty the Sultan shook hands with members of the official delegation accompanying the Saudi Crown Prince, wishing them a pleasant stay in their second home Oman. On his turn, the guest shook hands with some members of the Royal Family, Chairmen of the State Council and Shura Council, ministers, commanders of the Sultan’s Armed Forces (SAF) and the Royal Oman Police (ROP). After that, His Majesty the Sultan and HRH Prince Mohammed bin Salman proceeded to the hall where they took Arabian coffee.
