Muscat: His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik has received a cable of thanks from Shaikh Tamim bin Hamad al Thani, Emir of the State of Qatar in reply to His Majesty's condolences cable on the death of Shaikh Mohammed Khalid Hamad Abdullah al Thani.
In the cable, Shaikh Tamim expressed his sincere appreciation for His Majesty's heartfelt sympathies, praying to the Almighty Allah to rest the deceased’s soul in peace in paradise and to protect His Majesty and the Omani people against all harm. --ONA
