MUSCAT: The latest analysis of numerical weather charts and satellite images shows that the Sultanate of Oman will be affected by fresh northwesterly starting fromThursday,January 20, and will continue over the next two days.
The northwesterly wind is expected to bring temperatures down and cause the sea wave to be rough (2-4 metres) . There is a possibility of low and poor horizontal visibility due to rising dust over desert and open areas, according to Oman Meteorology Office (OmanMet).
