Pact inked for integrated transport hub in Nizwa

Muscat: The Governor’s Office in Dhakilyah signed a memorandum of understanding with Mwasalat for an integrated hub for buses and taxis in the Wilayat of Nizwa.


The agreement was signed by Shaikh Hilal bin Saeed al Hajri, the Governor of Al Dakhiliyah, and Badr bin Mohammed al Nadabi, acting CEO of Mwasalat.


The agreement included exchanging information, studies, and research for the Integrated One Stop Station for buses and taxis, including the economic viability of the project.


The project includes a bus station for transportation within the city and inter-city, a waiting station for passengers, taxis with shaded parking, public parking, and various commercial activities that create job opportunities for the people of the governorate.


After the completion of this project, Mwasalat will provide integrated, sustainable, efficient, safe, and technologically advanced transportation services in the Wilayat of Nizwa.
