Surge in Covid-19 infections as MoH reports 609 cases, no deaths

Muscat: The Ministry of Health (MOH) on Monday reported 609 new cases, the highest number since July 19th, 2021, of Covid-19 and no deaths for the last 24 hours.


The total number of cases registered in the Sultanate has now reached 308,870, including 4,119 deaths.


The total number of recoveries is 301,174 while the recovery rate is 97.5 percent.


In the last 24 hours, nineteen patients were admitted to hospitals across the Sultanate of Oman, and the total number of inpatients is 50, including four in the Intensive Care Units (ICU).
