MoE suspends classes tomorrow in 9 governorates due to heavy rains

Muscat: Based on the heavy rains warning issued by the Multi Hazard Early Warning Centre, the Ministry of Education decided to suspend classes and examinations at public and private schools on Tuesday in the governorates of South Al Sharqiyah, Al Dakhiliyah, North Al Batinah, Al Buraimi, Muscat, Al Dhahirah, North Al Sharqiyah, South Al Batinah and Musandam, on Tuesday.


Classes and examinations will resume on Wednesday January 5.


The examinations that were due to be held on Tuesday will be shifted to the day following the last day of the examinations according to the examinations timetable.


The Directorate of Education will provide the alternative on Tuesday.
