Muscat: The Royal Army of Oman (RAO) celebrated on Wednesday the passing out of a batch of cadet officers, as well as the first batch of female cadet officers from the Sultan Qaboos Military College.
The ceremony, held in the Parade Ground at Al Murtafaa Garrison, was under the auspices of Shaikh Al Fadhl Mohammed al Harthy, Secretary-General of the Council of Ministers.
The event was attended by several high-ranking officials and officers, as well as families of the graduates.
The graduates also comprised cadet officers from the office of the Deputy Prime Minister for Defence Affairs, the Royal Air Force of Oman, the Royal Guard of Oman, the Sultan’s Special Force, the Royal Oman Police and other security departments in Oman, besides cadet officers from the Kingdom of Bahrain and the State of Qatar. --ONA
