MUSCAT: In response to the Royal directives of His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik, the Supreme Commander, to speed up the process of recruitment of nationals, and in continuation to the national efforts exerted by the Sultan’s Armed Forces (SAF) to open the door for citizens to join the military service and get the honour of serving the dear country, the Royal Air Force of Oman (RAFO), in coordination with the Ministry of Labour, on Monday continued to receive citizens who will undergo the applied recruitment procedures required for joining RAFO as air officer candidates after passing the evaluation stage.

RAFO employed its expertise and administrative capacities as well as its means of transportation in order to provide a suitable environment for conducting the necessary procedures for the new batch of air officers in a speedy and seamless manner.

These vigorous efforts made by the Sultan’s Armed Forces (SAF) to recruit citizens are in line with the plans and programmes for the employment of nationals at SAF and the other departments of the ministry of defence to enable them to serve the country, its leader and the Omani people. — ONA
