CAIRO: The Sultanate of Oman, represented by the Ministry of Justice and Legal Affairs on Monday took part in the 37th session of the Council of Arab Justice Ministers.


Dr Abdullah Mohammed al Saidi, Minister of Justice and Legal Affairs headed the Sultanate of Oman's delegation in the session, which was held at the Arab League premises in Cairo, the Arab Republic of Egypt.


The meeting discussed a number of topics, notably the council's technical secretariat report on the updates regarding the implementation of decisions, recommendations and Arab agreements.


The ministers further discussed the Arab guidance draft project on preventing hate speech, and the Arab guidance draft project on protecting and supporting the elderly rights, among other relevant topics. -- ONA
