Muscat: Sheikh Jassim bin Abdulrahman al Thani, the State of Qatar’s Ambassador to the Sultanate of Oman, has said that the State visit by His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik, to Qatar on Monday, and his meeting with the Emir of the State of Qatar, affirms the strong bilateral relations at various levels.
The visit will establish a platform that helps satisfy the aspirations of the two brotherly peoples and will carry with it many visions and projects that will strengthen and develop relations between the two countries, politically, economically, and culturally.
He added that the relations between Qatar and Oman have special frameworks that are supported by strong economic and political relations that go deep in history. "Qatari-Omani relations will witness further rapprochement through the high visit of His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik to his second homeland amid a great welcome from all segments of the Qatari people.
