New York: Through its membership in the UN Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC), the Sultanate of Oman will focus on supporting the path of sustainable and comprehensive development in national plans consistent with the noble goals of the United Nations.
This was stated in the Sultanate’s before the UN General Assembly convened here.
In the speech, delivered by Omani Diplomat Sultan Mohammed al Fazari, Oman stressed the need to focus on confronting Covid-19 pandemic until it recedes.
The Sultanate of Oman called for persistent action to stem the virus at a time many countries around the world continue to suffer the pandemic's repercussions. --ONA
