Some consumers have been complaining that the mileage they get for a liter of petrol has come down in recent times.

The tests were done of 90 samples in reliable laboratories taken from petrol stations in various governorates, which were carried out by MOCIIP and OQ Group.

The lab results of the samples showed that the fuel complied with the standards and the OQ Group has affirmed its commitment to conduct laboratory tests of fuel periodically as a regular procedure.

For complaints related to fuel, the ministry urged customers to directly contact the call centers of fuel distribution companies in the Sultanate. In the event of no response, the Consumer Protection Authority can be contacted, which continues to receive complaints and issues clarifications in coordination with the competent authorities.
