Muscat: Dr Khalfan Said al Shuaili, Minister of Housing and Urban Planning received in his office here on Sunday Dr Joan Clos, former Secretary General of the United Nations (UN) Conference on Housing and Sustainable Urban Development (Habitat III), within the framework of his current visit to the Sultanate of Oman.
The meeting reviewed the Sultanate's experience in the fields of housing and the sustainable urban development, as well as exchanging relevant expertise and knowledge.
During his current visit, Dr Clos will give a lecture entitled "Transformation into Attractive Cities for Living" at Sultan Qaboos University (SQU.
The visit aims at enhancing the global communication of Oman in the fields of housing and urban planning, besides exchanging relevant experience. --ONA
