Muscat: Oman Meteorology on Thursday denied speculations on social media platforms that another tropical condition is developing in the Arabian sea and might move towards the Sultanate.
"There are no initial indications for the formation of a new tropical state in the Arabian Sea, according to the latest analyzes of weather maps at the National Early Warning Center. The months of October and November of each year are considered as the second season (after the monsoon winds) to form tropical conditions in the Arabian Sea and the Bay of Bengal," said a statement from the agency.
