The National Multi-Hazard Early Warning Centre has pointed towards the Southern tropical depression East of the Arabian Sea today, along the longitude (72.3 east) and latitude (10.5 degrees NN) and the surface wind speed around the center are estimated at 17-27 knots (31-50 km /hour).
The tropical depression is likely to move north to the northwest along with the western coasts of India, with its depth into a deep tropical depression during the coming hours, without affecting the atmosphere Sultanate during the next three days.
On Thursday, the met said about the possibility of the flow of clouds over the governorates of Dhofar and Al-Wusta, which may lead to sporadic rains, said Oman Meteorology on Thursday.
