Sultanate participates in Arab Water Forum

Dubai: The Sultanate, represented by the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Water Resources, today took part in the 5th Arab Water Forum held in the United Arab Emirates (UAE). The forum, which is hosted every 3 years by the Arab Water Council in collaboration with the Arab League, will continue till September 23, 2021. The Sultanate’s delegation was headed by Eng Ali bin Mohammed al Abri, Under-Secretary for Water Resources. The forum addresses the challenges facing the Arab countries in the field of water resources. It also explores suitable solutions. The forum also discusses preparations to participate in 9th World Water Forum in Dakar, Senegal in March 2022, in addition to exchanging expertise and techniques through the exhibitions organised on the sidelines of the forum.
