Oman reports 60 new Covid-19 cases, one death

Muscat: As many as 60 new cases of coronavirus (Covid-19) were registered in the Sultanate over the past 24 hours, in addition to one Covid-19-related death case.


This brings the total number of positive Covid-19 cases to 303,223 in the Sultanate.


The total number of Covid-19-related death cases reached 4,090, the Ministry of Health said.


The Ministry added that 71 new cases have recovered, bringing the total number to 293,414 recoveries.


The Ministry also pointed out that 5 cases were hospitalized over the past 24 hours, as the total number of current hospitalized Covid-19-infected patients stands at 54 of them 28 are in intensive care units (ICUs). --ONA
