MUSCAT: Dr Ahmed bin Mohammed al Saeedi, Minister of Health, on Sunday received a delegation from the healthcare and pharmacology sector in the Czech Republic.
During the meeting, the two sides discussed means of enhancing the joint cooperation in the health field. They also explored the investment opportunities in the healthcare, pharmacology and medical tourism sectors in Oman.
The meeting also reviewed the epidemiological situation of Covid-19 pandemic and the measures taken by the two countries to curb its spread.
Al Saeedi commended the improvement of the epidemiological situation in Oman and worldwide, as well as the decrease in infections, the number of hospitalized patients and deaths.
The meeting was attended by Dr Mohammed Saif al Hosni, Health Affairs Undersecretary at the Ministry of Health, and a number of officials from the ministry. -- ONA
