Oman reports 57 new cases, 1 death

Muscat: As many as 57 new cases of coronavirus (Covid-19) were registered in the Sultanate during the past 24 hours, in addition to 1 new Covid-19-related death case.


This brings the total number of positive Covid-19 cases to 302,924 in the Sultanate.


The total number of Covid-19-related death cases reached 4,084, the Ministry of Health said.


The Ministry added that 97 new cases have recovered, bringing the total number to 293,007 recoveries.


The Ministry also pointed out that 10 cases were hospitalized over the past 24 hours, as the total number of current hospitalized Covid-19-infected patients stands at 82 of them 26 are in intensive care units (ICUs). --ONA
