Muscat: As part of the Supreme Committee's measures to make vaccination a must to enter public places and offices in the Sultanate, authorities on Wednesday said it is mandatory to get the second dose before October 1 to enter private and public workplaces.

Earlier, the Supreme Committee had said that from September 1, it is mandatory to have at least one dose of vaccine to enter public places and workplaces across the country.

"Allowing all who have received at least one dose of the covid-19 vaccine to enter the workplace starting from September 1 until the end of September 2021 and they are not allowed to enter the premises beginning 1 October 2021 if they don't receive the second dose by then," said a statement from the Supreme Committee.
