MUSCAT: With constant improvement carried out by the government, the Wilayat of Madha in the Governorate of Musandam enjoys the best quality of services.

The projects that were implemented and are being implemented in the wilayat stand as a witness to the ongoing process of improvement.

In a statement to Oman News Agency (ONA), Mohammed bin Ahmed al Madhani, representative of the wilayat in Majlis Ash’shura, said that many government departments were opened in the wilayat to facilitate and provide services to citizens with an aim to create an ideal environment for development.

There are a number of ventures being executed in Madha; a step that is expected to make the best use of its components and consolidate its economic and technical structure, in general.

In this regard, Al Madhani indicated that work is currently under way to finalise Madha hospital, which is expected to be completed by the end of the next year. The hospital will include more than 30 beds and 14 clinics, including internal medicine and children and women clinics.

Raising the efficiency of the health system and reducing the movement of citizens over long distances to get health care services are among key goals of setting up Madha hospital.

Al Madhani touched on the importance of communications and the Internet in all aspects of life. The wilayat enjoys a fibre optic network that is currently being delivered to all houses and commercial establishments.
