MUSCAT: Arif Hussain of Orient Travels/Gitacs and Noushad Haneefa of LC Tech were presented best batsman and best bowler awards respectively at a prize ceremony for toppers of B to F Division organized by Oman Cricket at OC Ground One in Al Amerat on Tuesday.
The prizes were presented by Oman Cricket Board Directors including Madhu Jesrani, OC Secretary, Kiran Asher, Treasurer, Paul Sheridan, Ali Moosa Yousuf and Alkesh Joshi in the presence of Duleep Mendis, Chief Development Officer, Oman Cricket.
C Division’s top prizes went to Pervez Baig (best batsman) of Design Group Engineering Consultants and Adnanul Haq (best bowler) of Maniz Azad.
Wajid Ali of Pitspot won the D Division’s best batsman award while best bowler and best all-rounder prizes went to Rahul Chadha who was the star player for Vanderlande.
Omani player Rafeeq Mohammed of OCT Al Nahdha received E Division’s best batsman award while Shah Abbas of Aflag Group won the best bowler prize. Yusuf Patanwala of Sketch International wad declared the best all-rounder.
Mazoon Dairy’s Sakeel Khan claimed the best batsman award for his brilliant batting in F Division’s League competition whereas Prashan Rana of Y Horizon was presented the best bowler prize. The best all-rounder prize was received by Saud Haroon Khan of BSI.
