Muscat: Met office on Thursday said Al Hajar mountains and neighboring areas are likely to receive rains of varying intensity.
"As the chances of cumulus clouds forming on the Al Hajar Mountains and the neighboring areas continue, the possibility of rains with thunderstorms at times accompanied by active winds may lead wadis to overflow," said a statement from the weather office.
Met predicted partly cloudy to cloudy skies along the coastal areas of Dhofar governorate and adjoining mountains with intermittent drizzles.
