MASIRAH: The expansion of the fishing harbour in the Wilayat of Masirah in South Al Sharqiyah Governorate continues with local funding and participation of the private sector under the supervision of the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Water Resources.
Aimed at developing fisheries wealth, boosting food security and upgrading the port’s infrastructure, the project involves construction of a marina berth for the mooring of artisanal and coastal fishing vessels, and other fishing boats. The total length of the two berths is approximately 180 meters. — ONA
